You are the factory

Straight from the developers page:

“You are the Factory. Chicken factory. Try to balance power obtained by feeding the chickens inside the generator waiting for the chance to break the cycle when the Prophet appears…”

Game developed during the worldwide event Global Game Jam 2020. The decision to include the diversifier The Roaring 20s, as well as overloading the game with machinery and steam everywhere and the very openness of the developers team, made this game the best candidate for experimenting with new sounds.

Audio tracks

The team was looking for a slow-tempo music and steampunk identity, yet very punchy and loaded of electronic elements. The unusual combination of an cranked harpsichord, a vibrato guitar, some synth strings and an electronic drum-kit ended up being the best instrument palette for this purpose:
